At plavalmat.com, we make it easy for schools, academies, international schools and other educational organisations worldwide to pay for maths resources by purchase order during the checkout process.
It is possible to pay by card using a standard guest checkout without needing to register for an account. If your finance team requires a purchase order number linked to your order please enter your PO number is the order notes section in the checkout and it will be added to your final invoice. Unless your items are on back-order or are direct delivery items, your order will normally be dispatched within 1-2 working days.
Our official Purchase Order payment option at checkout is restricted to pre-approved accounts only. You will need to register with us before placing a purchase order.
Please note: We are unable to offer credit terms. As per our company policy, payment is due on receipt and items will ship as soon as funds have cleared. However, we understand that finance department payment cycles may not happen daily, therefore we will hold your order and allow up to 7 days for the payment to reach us. Please contact us for further assistance.

How to use the Purchase Order Option at Checkout
- Register for an account by completing the information on our Login/Registration Page. We kindly request that all fields are completed for faster and smoother verification.
- A member of our accounts team will review your application. You will be notified by email (usually within 24 hours) if your account has been approved. It may be necessary for us to get in touch by email or phone to obtain more information or to confirm your details.
- You will receive confirmation by email with your login and password you registered with.
Place Your Purchase Order in 3 Simple Steps
- Create Your Order Online: Log in to your account, then add your chosen maths resources and manipulatives to your order.
- Go to the Checkout: Your billing details should be pre-filled but it may be necessary to provide a shipping address. Please check all information, products and prices carefully before proceeding.
- Select Purchase Order: Approved accounts should have the Purchase Order payment option to select (below Secure Card Payment). Enter your official Purchase Order number in the field provided and ‘Place Order’.
What Happens Next?
- You order status will be ‘ON HOLD’ and your items will be reserved for 7 days.
- You will receive an official electronic invoice from us by email with our bank details for payment. Paper copies are available on request.
- Your order status will change to ‘Pending Payment’.
- Once funds have cleared, your order will be marked as completed and your items will be dispatched (direct delivery items or back ordered items will either be sent separately to you by our supplier or to our warehouse to combine with other items in your order to send in one shipment). You will be provided with tracking information so you can monitor the progress of your shipment and when to expect delivery.
